Line Editing focuses on how a manuscript reads from sentence to parqgraph level. Rather thaaan only fixing grammar or spelling, line editing reines the flow, tone, rhythm, and word choice to strengthen the impact and readability of the text. Smooth awkward phrasing, repition, and ensure diaglogue sounds natural.

Copy editing is a more intensive service. I may add or subtract words, rearrange sentences for a better flow, or even vary wording for clarity while ensuring characters and descriptions are consistent throughout. I double-check references (if needed) and verify that the storyline is uniform. With Line editing, I go through each line, checking for details lacking in depth and clarity, inconsistencies in details, and fixing awkward or unclear sentences or paragraphs.

This is one of my most popular services. With this service, I correct spelling, punctuation, syntax, and grammar. I ensure all details are simple, seamless and handled in a timely manner. ​
